Well, I'm back on the bandwagon. It feels wierd. For months before the wedding, that's all my life was full of. Wedding details, and plans, and everything else. Suddenly the wedding is over, and you are expected to fall right back into place. RIGHT! For those of you interested - the ceremony is now in a quicktime version on my parents website. If you weren't able to attend (or even if you were) and are interested in viewing it (my dad edited it...it's VERY good) you are more then welcome to. The website is password protected. So please comment on my site and let me know you'd like to watch it. I'll e-mail you the site, as well as the password. It's worth the time (if I may say so myself). But enough with the wedding....I'm sure you are all interested in other happenings of my life. The honeymoon was incredible. I uploaded a majority of the pictures into a photo album on the right. You'll get the jist. We spent 16 days on the beach. So our pictures are ALL of the beach. Exciting to us, might not be so exciting to you.
Saturday the 25th of September, I bid a fond, and very tearful farewell, to my family and made the drive to Reno. It was very hard to say goodbye to my family. I love them all very much - and although Reno is great. I feel as though a huge chunk of my heart is missing. It was not easy to do. I'll tell you that. Thankfully, I secured a job in the first few days I was here (Thanks Matt!). I got a job at a company called Assist-2-Sell. It's a real estate company, and I was hired as the assistant to the franchise departments manager. Such a blessing. I was most concerned with finding a job. God knew that, and provided in a way I wasn't expecting. If you were praying for me - thanks. I really appreciate that. Trei and I are on the churches bowling league. Yes, that's right. We are Sunday bowlers. Ha ha - it is SO much fund. I'll bring a camera this week.
Otherwise. I can't give to much of my opinion about living in Reno. It feels a bit like a vacation still. We're living with Trei's parents untill our house is ready October 15th. They are wonderful for letting us stay here for so long. I'm sure they will be ready to have their home back to normal. I went out last night with Shauntaye, and almost froze to death. I don't think my winter clothes will cut it here. Winters in LA are like summer nights here in Reno. Brrrrr. COLD! Enough with the complaining though, because the city really isn't half bad. Although I will forever be a California girl. I think I could get used to Reno. Actually I'll let you know when it starts snowing - I might have a different opinion.
Well, I need to get going. TIme to take the dog on a walk. YIPEE!!! I'll write very soon. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow. Remember, work doesn't start until Monday - so I have a lot of time on my hands.
