Long Overdue

Gosh, I feel like it's been forever since I've writtn anything if substance. Usually the first hour at work was dedicated to updating - but because of a small problem (I've been banned from any personal web use) I've lacked, big time!! It's 10:40, and I can't sleep. I'm usually sawing logs by 9pm - but not tonight. Tonight my mind is reeling. 

I guess I should start with my birthday - it was amazing! Trei was awesome. To make a long story short - I arrived home from work later than usual, and Trei had a wonderful dinner prepared. On the table were candles as well as sparkling apple cider (not much of a wine gal). We dined on an incredible home-cooked meal in our PJ's - not much better than that. Anyway, after dinner I had to use the restroom;  as I walked back into the living room, all the lights were out, except for the glare of 23 lit candles. Trei was holding a strawberry shortcake and singing me Happy Birthday (so cute!). About 2 bites into my cake, I was interupted by Trei's excitement over my Birthday gifts.....So, what did my husband give me on my birthday?? Speakers for my computer, an incredible Canon photo printer, photo paper, new bowling shoes, and a nice clean office (yes, he cleaned my entire office and hung my pictures - so, in his words, I can "have my own space in the house"). I am such a lucky gal. I love being loved. It's a great feeling.

Man.....

I really miss my family.

Well, it's 10:17am, and all my work for the day is done. I'm trying to remain on the positive side - but I'm having a REALLY hard time.

Movies

Trei and I signed up for the Netflix type deal that Blockbuster has going. We receive and watch probably 5 movies a week, so my ability to recommend movies is broadening. If you have any "must see" or "must not see" movies to tell us about - PLEASE DO!!! We'll add them to our queue. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. :-)

White Chicks - A waste of brain cells. And yes, we should have seen it coming, but we actually heard good things about it!!

Hello, Is anyone out there?!?

I feel completely blacklisted from the rest of the world. What a lonely feeling. Especially when I'm sitting here at work, with nothing in front of me - wondering if anyone has updated their sites. Unfortunately, I can't look because my babysitters won't let me. Instead I find myself completely depressed from reading the news - Anger in Iraq, Devastation in Asia, Death in California. May sound selfish, but I'm ready to read about something good. Something light-hearted and happy. They don't write a lot of that, do they? I'd change my mood to reflect how I'm really feeling - bored...but that site has been blocked as well. I might as well live in a hole.

In other news....Things in Reno are cold - very, very cold. You know it's cold when your dogs water that is sitting in the garage is frozen. Poor puppies. If they would only learn to control their bladders - they could sleep in the house with Trei and I. All I know is that I wish I was someplace warm, like Hawaii.

So has anyone visited my friend Melissa's site yet ( http://flamija.blogs.com )....well you'll notice that she has a little something written about her new boyfriend, who just happens to be my amazing and handsome brother Michael. And make a guess at who hooked that sexy little couple up? Yep, you're right - ME! My wedding day was the day that sparked a growing relationship. It brings a tear to my eye. :-) Having them walk down the aisle together was soooo sneaky!

Well, back to doing nothing. I'm afraid they'll block me from my e-mail, and that, would be a tragedy!
