Well, do I have a lot to chat about. It's been a very stressful and emotional few weeks for me. But today I can rest at ease.

I shall start my story by saying that I heard from my doctor last Tuesday - she wanted to make an appointment to see me regarding my lab results, only saying that they were "abnormal". The soonest appointment they could give me was the following Thursday (today). Well by Friday I was driving myself crazy, so I called the doctor and asked her is she could tell me anything about the results. She obliged, and told me that I had a condition called"Polycystic Ovary Syndrome".

You may be asking, "What the heck is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome?" and let me tell you, it wasn't something I was familiar with either. The doctor told me to do some research on it, and bring all the questions I would have to the appointment with me. The more and more I read, the more everything started to fall into place. Everything that I have been experiencing are symptoms of PCOS.

A Special Day...

Happy Birthday Kyle!!

I have a hard time believing that my "little" brother is 17....it feels like yesterday he was this little blond hair kid that followed Michael, Katy and I around in anticipation of our every move. Now he's a tall, handsome, intelligent, talented and endearing young man. Wow! I wish I was there to celebrate with everyone.....I hate being the one who has to miss it. Well Kyle, have a great day. 17 is such a fun age, and I know you'll have an incredible year!!! I love you, and can't wait to see you next weekend.

Time for an Update!

It's Tuesday morning, which means I'm 4 full days from the weekend. 4 is better than 5, so I'm optimistic. I have been so tired lately. I don't know why - I get enough sleep, I just can't seem to shake this exhaustion. I woke up this morning, and my first thought was "I can't wait to get home from work and crawl into bed". That is sad. I'm 23 years old and should be at the top of my game...looking forward to going out on the town, and staying out all night. Instead I sleepily fall out of bed, already looking forward to 16 hours later when I get to crawl right back in. I need to snap out of this. It's getting a little pathetic. I don't want to scare anyone away from the idea of marriage because they think that it automatically makes you boring...because I can promise - it's not marriage. I think it's just me.

Random Thoughts

First of all, I can finally say there is good sushi in Reno! My sushi drought came to an end when Trei's parents took me to this incredible place near my work. We got "all-you-can-eat" for a reasonable $14.95, and I ate definitely ate "all-I-could- eat". Spicy California rolls used to be my absolute favorite, but I'd have to say that salmon sashimi has taken it's place. I'm obsessed. Last night (only 4 days after my experience with the Vosslers) I begged Trei to take me for dinner....I had been craving it all day, and didn't want to go home unsatisfied! My tastebuds had been re-united with their favorite of food, and they weren't going to let me forget. Thank God for good, I mean, excellent sushi!

This just in....

While doing a search of the French Meadows Reservoir...I find out that the 35 miles of hell that Trei and I were forced to drive is called "Mosquito Ridge Road" and is famous for it's "600 curves in 35 miles".....and the author was actually excited about this. Crazy.

The Good, The Bad, and The Really Ugly!

I know, I know....it's about time! I have no excuses. I have so much to write about, just haven't had the energy to sit down and type it all out. I've enjoyed reading everyone elses updates, and decided it was about time I took a few moments to update everyone on my life. First of all, I need to talk about the weekend of the 8th, because my beautiful mom flew in Friday night to spend 3 days with me. What a treat! Trei and I picked my mom up at the airport Monday night at 8pm, and I was so excited. Trei wanted to wait by the baggage claim, but I just couldn't contain my excitement. So there I was right by the bottom of the stairs, looking for my mom. Our weekend together was wonderful. She is my best friend, and I enjoyed our time together. I've said it a million times, but I love my mom soooo much!!! She is incredible, and I admire her in so many ways. I felt kind of like a little girl again, watching my mom, and looking for her approval. I wanted my house to be perfect, and I wanted to look my best, and I wanted her to feel relaxed and unwound. Even though I know she's proud of me, despite the appearance of my home, or even myself - I always try extra hard! Anyway, we spent those 3 days talking, shopping, eating out, and watching HGTV. I had a blast. There is nothing like spending some uninterrupted time with my mom. I am so blessed that she had the ability to fly out and visit with me. I'm now looking even more forward to my visit in September.
