Thank God It’s Friday!!!! I think that’s the most important thing I have to say today. I’m officially 4 days into work here at my new job, and I’m loving it more and more everyday. The people I work with are friendly, helpful and down-to-earth. It’s really refreshing to be here. So far I’m learning all the basic functions of my position. I’ve been answering the phones, making appointments, learning the computer systems, and a ton of various tasks. It’s busy and exciting, and I’m definitely feeling like this is a position I will really grow in. I’m the total “Mother Hen” type, so ofcourse I love taking care of my bosses business and making sure they are taken care of. I’ll pretty much be a “Jane of all trades” here in my new position. I’ll be handling everything from phone calls and conference preparations to account set-up and licensing. On my second day on the job, I had to get coffee for some clients of ours, and even pour it (I really don’t know how to do much else at this point)…..see, my four months at Starbucks really paid off….I looked like a total professional. But seriously, I’m fitting in nicely (in my opinion ofcourse). And nothing beats being 5 minutes from home….so my hour lunch break….really is an hour! I’m not spending 15 or 20 minutes in the car just to get home.

So Far, So Good

Just home for a little while on my lunch break. The job is going wonderfully so far. I've been really busy all morning, and have a stack of things to do when I get back. I feel so anti-social because I don't have access to blogs or myspace while I'm work....but I guess that's why they call it "work". I miss everyone, and will comment on updates tonight.

There's Nothing Like Karaoke to Top Off a Fabulous Weekend

It's Monday night, and I'm finally sitting down to update my precious blog. I am so sorry that I haven't written much since last weekend, but things have been crazy. And I'm serious when I say that.

The Fantastic Four

I came across another fun little blog quiz...

4 Jobs I've had in my life:

1. Barista at Starbucks. Kristin had been working there for sometime, and thought I'd want a job there since I was looking to leave Black Angus. I was there for 4 months, and pretty much hated every minute. I worked the crappy 4am shift, while Kristin worked the afternoon shift. Ha ha ha, atleast she tried :)

2. Sales Associate for Bare Escentuals. I took on this job while I worked at Starbucks, right before I went to make-up school. I only worked there for about 6 months - but it was a total blast.

3. Hostess at The Cheesecake Factory for 2 years. Man, I loved that job. I worked with awesome people, lost weight because I was running around 40 hours a week, and got to work with people 24/7.

4. Spent over a year as a nanny for the famous "boys". This was by far my most rewarding job. I would go back in a minute if I were asked.

Celebrate Good Time, C'mon!!

Can you believe it?? We finally got all the bloggers (minus a few) for a photo op.

This is only one picture of a dozen - that you'll see on the extended post - of our wonderful night out on the town. All of my favorite girls drove up to celebrate (again!) my 24th birthday. I can't express the excitement I had leading up to this night, and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed!!  It was an incredible evening.... filled with awesome girls, lots of laughs, and a ton of memories. THANK YOU LADIES FOR A WONDERFUL EVENING. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. Oh, and Tristan....you were missed. We'll have to duplicate this night in May when you're back in the states for your wedding.....love you!
