I can’t believe it’s Monday again. Didn’t I just get off work on Friday? It feels like it. What’s the point of home, if we spend more time at work, then we do there? All I know, is I am not ready for the day, and it’s already started.
But enough of that, why don’t I talk about what a lovely weekend I had instead. Friday morning at 5:45 am, Kayli, Kari and I went to the Turbo Kickboxing class. It was really funny. We didn’t really care for our teacher that morning, so instead of her suggested dribbling moves and backwards skiing (is that kickboxing anyway?!) We booty dancing through most of the class. We are the dumb girls in the back who spend the whole class giggling, and laughing. Ironically, I really despise girls like that. Why is it that we feel like we can act in ways that others can’t? Ehh, who cares. All I know is that kickboxing on Friday ended my third week of working out. I almost feel like a pro. Almost.
Friday after work, Trei picked me up and we went to Disneyland. Well, first we ate dinner at Tony Roma’s and then we walked over to the main gates. We spent the first part of the night in California Adventure talking to Crush from Finding Nemo. That interactive theater is so cool. Trei and I kept talking about how cool we would have thought it was as a kid. We were the only people in there without kids, after hearing a majority of them whining and crying – we were pretty happy about that. After talking to Crush we sang in Ursella’s grotto, found out what Disney character Trei was, and walked around the animation studio. After that we went to the pier for some carnival rides, and then headed over to Disneyland. As we were walking towards Indiana Jones we could hardly get through the crowds – so instead of riding any of the rides, we took the train around Disneyland (Trei hadn’t been on it since her was a kid). The whole tour is about 20 minutes, so we just sat and relaxed as we rode around the park. It was a blast. Man, it’s great that $149 can buy you hundreds of cheap dates for an entire year!
