Busy. B-U-S-Y. That might actually be an understatement. Crazy is probably a better word. Sometimes I wish the world would just slow down. Sometimes I long for a life away from it all. An island in the middle of the ocean. No tv's, computers, cars, bill, etc. Just the space and time to run, play, and soak in all of the changes only time brings. You may be nodding your head as you read this (I'm generally partial to the tv, computer, money, my car, etc), but it's moments like this - when I look back over my month and realize I barely made it out alive that I think a simpler life would be.....well, more simple. Olivia looked darling in her dress and red shoes.....and I cried like a baby while Trei's dad (aka: Pastor Pete) prayed a most beautiful prayer over our sweet daughter. It was perfect. After church, we had our closest and dearest family and friends over to celebrate over pulled-pork sandwiches with coleslaw (thanks to my husband), potato salad (thanks to my mom), and cookies (thanks to me, the diabetic). We spent a few hours just enjoying the good company of our friends and family. I have pictures, but you'll have to wait until I'm back in Reno for those.
